HOW TO USE
* Condition your polymer clay and roll flat onto your tile. Light color clay is best with transfer sheets.
* Place the bright colored side of your transfer sheet face down onto your unbaked clay. Rub to attach and remove air bubbles
* Let it rest up to 5 minutes.
* Bring your tile to the sink. Slowly run cool water over your transfer sheet wetting it thoroughly.
* Take your time to rinse away the paper. You can lightly rub the paper to remove any residue. Be gentle as the clay is still soft and you don't want to rub off the transfer.
* Lightly use a paper towel to blot off any water. Once the clay is dry you can cut the clay. I like to dust my transfer, lightly with cornstarch and dip my cutters into cornstarch to prevent sticking.
* Bake as usual.
* After baking you may see some paper residue. You can rub it off with a bit of water and your fingers.
* You don't have to seal your clay but it is suggested. You can use many different types of sealers including Sculpey brand products, DuraClear and resin.
*** Water Transfer Paper will melt in moisture. Keep your transfer sheets away from water and humidity until use.
Important Color & Baking Notes:
*** Colors can look different in person than from your computer or phone. Some colors may darken, lighten or change color once the clay is baked. Heat affects clay transfer sheets on different types of clay during baking. Warm colors (yellow, orange, red) tend to turn more pink after baking. Tenting your clay with foil and covering your clay with a thin layer of translucent clay over your transfer image (after removing the paper) help prevent warm colors turning pinkish during baking.
