How to Use Your Transfer Sheet

Preparation:

• Condition polymer clay and roll flat onto your work tile
• Use light-colored clay for best color vibrancy
• Place bright colored side face down onto unbaked clay
• Rub gently to attach and remove air bubbles
• Let rest for up to 5 minutes

Transfer Process:

• Bring tile to sink and slowly run cool water over sheet
• Wet thoroughly and take your time rinsing away paper
• Lightly rub to remove residue—be gentle with soft clay
• Blot with paper towel and let dry completely
• Dust lightly with cornstarch before cutting
• Dip cutters in cornstarch to prevent sticking

Baking & Finishing:

• Bake according to your clay manufacturer's instructions
• Remove any paper residue after baking with water and fingers
• Seal with Sculpey products, DuraClear, or resin for durability

Important Tips for Best Results

Color Accuracy: Colors may appear different in person than on screen. Some shades may darken, lighten, or shift during baking. Warm colors (yellow, orange, red) tend to turn pinkish when heated.

Prevent Color Shift:

• Tent your clay with aluminum foil during baking
• Cover transfer with a thin layer of translucent clay after removing paper

Storage: Water transfer sheets will melt in moisture. Store away from water and humidity until ready to use.
